MARAPPAN LAKSHMIAMMAL EDUCATIONAL TRUST was created n 16/09/2009 with the main objective of promoting quality education by establishing educational institutions in the country especially in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The Registered Office of the Trust is situated at Kurumberi Village, Tiruppattur Taluk, Vellore District, Tamil Nadu -635652 and the Administrative Office is situated in Chennai. The Trust has been registered under Section 12AA of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and income of the Trust has been exempted under Section 80 G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 as per approval granted by the Commissioner of Income Tax, Chennai.
Ever since the Trust was registered the Trustees were wholeheartedly working for pursuing the objectives of the Trust of setting up of an educational institution in and around Tamil Nadu. In their pursuit of relentless service, they have started an Arts & Science College in Kurumberi Village, Tiruppattur in the year 2010. The college has been approved by the Government of Tamil Nadu and affiliated to Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore.
ML College is one of the best College in Kurumberi Village. Even though Tamil Nadu is bestowed with excellent and reputed arts and science colleges, there are very few number of colleges catering to the people from deprived sections of the Society.
The college has fully developed infrastructure.
The Trustees intend to purchase adjoining land of about 85 cents for further development and intend to construct new building to start new courses. The college has been established in 8.5 acres of land. It has about 40,000 sq.ft of building consisting of class rooms, lectures room, office room, canteen, store room. The college presently offers the following courses:

3. B.Sc. Computer Science
4. B.Sc. Bio- Chemistry
5. B.Sc. mathematics
6. B.C.A. Computer Applications
7. B.B.A Business Administration
